Construction Services is the arm of the company which handles construction
management and steel trade management. Years of experience in the
related areas of construction, productive collaborative relationships
with other construction firms, unions, subcontractors and community
organizations provided Dumas Construction Services with expertise
beyond that of many conventional steel fabricators and erectors. In
addition to our own fabricating facility in Detroit, Dumas has formed
strategic international alliances with other fabricators expanding
our capability to handle up to 20,000 tons annually.

Dumas
Construction Services has performed on many large and complicated
projects. Among them includes the replacement hospital in Detroit
for the Veterans Administration. The VA Hospital project in Detroit
was constructed by Union Tradesmen and was held accountable for minority
participation goals. This project included nearly 2 million square
feet of space, required 20,000 tons of steel and was erected in 20
months.

Albert Kahn and Associates, Sims-Varner, BEI Associates and Dave Ruby
and Associates. These long standing professional working relationships
provide a value-added benefit to our clients in that no learning curve
is involved when we are teamed on a project. For nearly two decades
Dumas Concepts in Building has been building up this A-E relationship.

Factories & Process Equipment Interfaces (Option Available)
We
can eliminate costly and time-consuming structural steel interferences
with examples such as plant ductwork, mechanical piping, electrical
buss routes and other process equipment. With the use of computer
aided drafting and solid modeling, we can assist clients and end users
identify and eliminate problems as early as in the processing design
stage/layout stages and not waiting for the installation phase to
detect the problems. This is another service we have that we can offer
as part of our structural steel services through our A-E connections
and partners.
