Scope of Work: In
co-operation with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Dumas Concepts
oversaw the erection of the structural steel fabrication of
the 12,000 ton, 600 foot retractable roof. With the steel being
fabricated in shops in China, Germany, Japan and in the state
of Wisconsin, a convoy of over 500 truckloads of steel logged
more than one million road miles in the course of getting steel
to the site. Dumas Concepts was responsible for overseeing the
on-site assembly and lifting the steel into place.
